In January of 2005, the Florida Institute for Cardiovascular Care (F.I.C.C.) was renamed Healthworx, and moved from its former office in Hollywood, to a brand new building on the prestigious Memorial Regional South Campus. The Florida Institute for Cardiovascular Care, P.A. is now doing business as (DBA) HealthwoRx. This name change was to better describe our mission which is to integrate all medical services when treating our patients.
With new resources, technology, and locations, Healthworx gives both doctors and patients something to look forward to. Undoubtedly, Healthworx's innovative approach to healthcare sets a national standard for other health care centers around the world. In fact, the NHL's Florida Panther hockey team and the BankAtlantic Center have recently named Healthworx as their official cardiologists.
